Dr. David Mabry

Dr. Mabry is a native Houstonian who graduated from Houston’s Lamar High School in 1973. From there he attended MIT and earned a bachelor’s in chemical engineering. College at MIT was followed by medical school at Baylor Medical School and then a 3-year Family Practice Residency at UT Houston where, in his final year of training, he was chosen to be one of the two Chief Residents for the program. He remains Board Certified in Family Practice.

In the fall of 1984 Dr. Mabry began his career at Woodlands Family Practice as he joined practice founder Dr. Jack Lesch. Over the past 38+ years it has been Dr. Mabry’s privilege and pleasure to serve as physician to so many patients. He is honored that his patients have trusted him with their health, their families, and their stories. Working with and for his patients has been one of the great joys and satisfactions of his life.

In good health, Dr. Mabry looks forward to more time with his 3 grown kids and 6 grandkids, all who live locally. Dr. Mabry continues to devote significant time to his church, Faith Bible Church, where he has served as an elder for most of the last 20 years. Dr. Mabry is also considering additional opportunities in the medical field.
